Cut through all the loops.

3.

Remove the cardboard and wrap around the tie-off strands to secure the whole pom-pom.

I like to make my pom-poms big and fluffy so I can attach them to beanie. Here I will show you how I make my 5" pom-poms.

You will need yarn, a 5" x 5" piece of cardboard, and scissors

1.

Cut two 10" strands - I call them tie-off strands; place one under and one over the piece of cardboard

2.

Wrap your yarn around the cardboard; make sure the tie-off strands are held in places and the ends are free. Wrap around until you’ve reached the desired size - approximately 40 g in total
